Sometimes we find ourselves in a place in life when it’s difficult to figure out a better way forward or change the behaviors and patterns that don’t serve us anymore. Sometimes we find ourselves feeling lost or stuck in our relationships, careers and daily lives. Sometimes depression, anxiety, past experiences, grief or life challenges can get the best of us. Therapy can be a space to find a lighter path through the maze of life, to find a way to heal and liberate from challenging emotions, moods and behavior patterns, by discovering our true selves, our ability to heal and what authentically works for us.
I practice from a trauma-informed / person-centered approach using a blend of modalities to best fit the unique needs and personalities. I understand that people have internal resources to heal and change, but life can sometimes obscure these ways and therapy can help in uncovering our potential and true selves. I utilize mindfulness based techniques, ACT and Solution Focused Therapy. I’m also IFS informed which guides us to develop a more compassionate and accepting relationship with ourselves and all parts of us.
I believe that our unique backgrounds, culture, and experiences in society are crucially important and I strive to provide a safe and empathic space where discovery of authentic self and healing path can take place. Seeking therapy can be a daunting task and not always easy to make the first steps. I’m here to help make this process as stress free as possible.
